Chantal Joffe’nin Resimlerinde Model – Tema İlişkisi

Sanat tarihinde ressamlar, sıklıkla model kullanmışlardır. Çoğu ressam olarak kendi çocuğunu konu edinmiştir. Günümüzün önemli İngiliz figüratif kadın ressamlarından biri olan Chantal Joffe’nin resimleri buna örnektir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, sanatçının kızını edindiği incelemektir. İnceleme sırasında Joffe’nin, tema-model seçmesi, kızının doğduğu 2004 tarihinden 2019 yılına kadar geçen 15 yılı kapsayan eser üretimine yayılmış olduğu görülmüştür. gerçekten yola çıkarak, annelik kimliğiyle sanat pratiği arasında bağlantı kurulmuş ve resimlerine etkileri ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. anlamda anne ressamlara ilham vereceği; ile ilgili alana katkı sağlayarak araştırmacılara bir kaynak olacağı düşünülmektedir. Ayrıca daha geniş araştırmalara kapı açması umulmaktadır. araştırmada resimde seçilen modelin konuyu etkileyeceği bu fikrin farklı bakış açıları sunacağı doğrultuda makaleye “Chantal Joffe Resimlerinde Model-Tema İlişkisi” adı verilmiştir. amaç doğrultusunda, eser-model ilişkisi hem içerik de teknik sorgulanmaya araştırma makalesi, analizi bölümünde çeşitli yazar düşünürlerin fikirleri desteklenmiş olup yedi resminin incelenmesi sınırlandırılmıştır. Araştırmada nitel yöntemi kullanılmıştır.
